JUSCO – Power Business Division: Total power network from 33KV level to LT consumer was surveyed and asset codification was done. Door –to-door survey was conducted for around 40,000 consumers for meter and consumer data collection. The total electrical database was prepared from the survey input in Oracle database. A suitable Consumer Indexing formula was also developed so that a consumer can be traced unto its 33KV power source. Front end software was developed for data updation and consumer index number generation.
CMC Limited - In association with CMC limited total GPS survey of the electrical distribution network of DPSC was done and total GIS map preparation and attribute data attachment was done. Consumer Indexing and Asset codification was also undertaken simultaneously. The total area covered was 618 sq. Km.

Calcutta Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA), State Urban Development Authority (SUDA) – Scanning and digitisation of Municipal Maps of CMDA & SUDA showing Municipal and Mouza boundaries with names/ numbers with legends and survey data attachment. Base maps so prepared are updated by further detail survey and put into GIS with population and holding details, health, house tax, sewerage and water line related data with Mapinfo software for Municipalities for different utilities. The projects are partially under IPP, World Bank funding.

Kolkata Port Trust – System study, Vectorisation/ digitisation of various property and lease plot plan maps showing port estate, development of Geographical Information System Software and preparation of GIS by linking the plot data with maps and drawings and finally creation of web based GIS solution for on line query, analysis and for viewing thematic maps, based on lease rent data. Training to KOPT personnel.
